Writer, creative consultant, outdoor enthusiast, and Anecdote, founder.

After graduating with my BA in English from St. Louis University, I ventured into marketing and professional copywriting. I learned to blend creative and technical skills to tell meaningful, engaging, and authentic stories. I also discovered a passion for teaching and coaching.

I joined a boutique tutoring company teaching academics, test prep, writing, and executive functioning skills to diverse students. Together, we problem solved, experimented, and diligently worked to realize new potentials. These students are the inspiration behind Anecdote,

Upon relocating to the PNW I became Creative Director at a local Seattle restaurant & events company. Fully responsible for the storytelling component of the business (a role I still maintain), I had the opportunity to collaborate with entrepreneurs, wineries, and production companies to bring ideas to life. All the while, I’ve been producing and professionally publishing literary fiction and working as a staff volunteer for a renowned literary magazine.

Through Anecdote, I combine my passions for teaching and great storytelling.
